MPEC | NAPA Acquires Waupun Auto Supply

We are pleased to announce that we have acquired the NAPA Auto Parts stores owned by Waupun, Wisconsin based Waupun Auto Supply, Inc. This nine-store group includes stores in Beaver Dam, Berlin, Columbus, Hartford, Mayville, Ripon, Waterloo, Waupun and West Bend, Wisconsin. We have asked Casey Mikkelson to lead these stores as part of the Madison Region.

The stores officially joined MPEC on June 15, 2020. This acquisition significantly enhances our market presence Central Wisconsin, and we couldn’t be more pleased to welcome the employees to Team MPEC.

Waupun Auto Supply, like MPEC, has strong roots in the communities they serve. Prior to joining the MPEC family, the Waupun Auto Supply team was owned by Dusty Gerrits and his family. For three generations and nearly 65 years, the Gerrits family grew the business, and we’re honored to continue to build on that rich history. We look forward to enhancing the partnerships built with our customers and couldn’t be more excited to have this great team of highly experienced employees coming forward.
